We do not have animals, can we still participate in 4-H?

Yes! From shooting sports to sewing, livestock to robotics, 4-H has projects to learn almost anything. Browse the 4-H Project list under the Enrollment tab to find out more!

What is a 4-H club and why do I need one?

At club meetings, you will receive 4-H updates, plan community service, and interact with other 4-H members and volunteers. Every member must be in a club to be an active member.

How do we get involved with 4-H?

How old does a kid have to be to partcipate?

4-H is open to all youth ages 8-18 (by January 1st of the current year) and the Cloverbud program is for youth ages 5-7.

How do we pick a project?

Projects should be selected based on interests and hobbies. See all projects that Wyoming 4-H has to offer on the Enrollment tab.

How do we get involved in shooting sports?

Youth can select a shooting sports discipline as a project. Each discipline will have a mandatory safety meeting before practices begin. Due to Wyoming weather, some practices do not begin until the Spring.

When are Record Books due? How do I complete my Record Book?

Record Books are completed on ZSuite and are due by September 15th. If the 15th falls on a weekend, they will be due ont he previous Friday. A printed copy must be turned in to be eligible for judging and awards. See the Record Book tab for more information and instructions.
