The Verification of Ownership for Livestock Born and Raised at Home is to be completed for livestock raised at home and to be brought to the County Fair at weigh-in. Livestock that are purchased must have a transfer of ownership papers in the 4-H member’s name.
This form must be completed by all 4-H clubs, groups, or committees hosting a fund-raiser where $50 or more is expected to be raised. This form must be presented for approval prior to the event. After the event a follow up report with amount raised needs to be made to the 4-H office.
Please submit the Wyoming 4-H Fund-Raising Request Form to the Extension Office or stop by to fill one out.
Laramie County 4-H and the Wyoming State Fair requires that a vet check is completed prior to exhibiting at either fair. Please save and complete the Wyoming State Fair Certificate of Veterinary Inspection – For Youth Animal Exhibits.
To ensure that every animal is in the name of the respective 4-H (or FFA) member who will exhibit, we have provided a Livestock Bill of Sale to be completed if it has not been already. All market beef must be owned by February 1 of the current 4-H year and all other livestock must be owned by June 1 of the current 4-H year.
