ROBOTICS ACADEMY

ROBOTICS ACADEMY

Wyoming 4-H is hosting two in-state Robotics training opportunities this spring for youth members and adult volunteers who want to strengthen their robotics knowledge and team leadership skills.

These trainings are designed for:

  • Youth who are new to 4-H Robotics
  • Members with previous experience who want to improve programming and competition skills
  • Volunteers who are starting or currently leading a robotics team

What to Expect?

The sessions will be led by Texas 4-H robotics youth and adult educators with hands-on competition and coaching experience.

Participants will work on:

  • Robotics programming fundamentals
  • Competition preparation (including Sumo and AgRobotics formats)
  • Understanding robot setup, troubleshooting, and performance improvement
  • Team organization and practice planning (volunteer focus)
  • Strategies for managing and sustaining a successful robotics team

This is a working training — participants will actively practice, problem-solve, and ask questions.

Why Attend?

Starting and sustaining a robotics team can feel overwhelming. These trainings are intended to provide practical guidance, hands-on experience, and direct support so youth and volunteers feel confident moving into the next robotics season.

Whether your family is just beginning or your team is preparing to compete, this training will provide structured learning and time to ask specific questions.
