New Volunteer Orientation

To be approved as a 4-H volunteer, you must complete the New Volunteer Orientation, enroll as a volunteer through ZSuite, and complete a background check. New Volunteer Orientation is offered as a group training or on-line. If you wish to participate in a face to face group orientation, contact your county 4-H educator for the date of the next orientation in your county.

You may complete the on-line New Volunteer Orientation sessions anytime. There are four modules that you can do independently, it should take you about 1 hour total for all four.  At the end of each module you will be asked to provide feedback about your learning and that is how we know that you completed the course. That date will be entered into your ZSuite profile and your county 4-H educator will be notified of your completion. Most sessions have handout(s) which you may want to review and/or print off.

 To enroll:

  •  Go to the Extension Catalog and enroll in New Volunteer Orientation.
  •  Once you have enrolled you will be redirected to the WyoLearn Catalog. The courses should appear on your dashboard.
