Horseless Horse

Horseless Horse

Did you know that you can be involved in the 4-H Horse Projects without owning and riding horses? Participating in horseless activities provides opportunities to learn more about horses, network with peers, develop new skills, and enjoy various activities and fun competitions. Instead of riding or caring for a personal horse, members learn everything about horses, just without the horse itself. The horseless activities do not just promote horse education, but youth also develop valuable life skills and become more productive.

Six horses run toward the camera across a pale, grassy plain, their coats in shades of brown, white, and black, with long manes flowing as they move together.
A small group of children wearing riding helmets stand around a white horse in a sandy riding area while an adult instructor talks to them near a stable building.
