Q. What is the highlight of your career?
A. It’s been an adventure, humbling and so exciting. Overall, I am so fortunate to have been able to make a career in agriculture and build a network in and outside of ag. Working for NEOGEN has been amazing as I get to learn everyday.
Q. What are challenges you encounter in your career?
A. Overall, I have had a variety of experiences and so many things appear as a challenge, but often lead to something even better. Today, working for NEOGEN a challenge we face is not enough hours in the day to get everything done. Genomics is really exciting!
Q. How did you get to this career?
A. Networking. I have been involved with my state and NCBA cattle organizations. These organizations along with volunteering in my local and national communities have led me to my current position with NEOGEN.
Q. Are there scholarship or internship opportunities available with your career? If so, where can more information about those be found?
A. We are often looking for interns, and always have great lab experience available.
