A. A highlight is doing rangeland monitoring and making management decisions based on these results.
Q. What are challenges you encounter in your career?
A. Challenges I face are balancing the very many values the Forest Service prioritizes.
Q. How did you get to this career?
A. I worked seasonally for the Forest Service for three summers. I went back to school and got my masters from CSU to be able to qualify for a full time position.
Q. Are there scholarship or internship opportunities available with your career? If so, where can more information about those be found?
A. Yes! Pathways is a current student program, there are always summer jobs, and shadowing is always a good way to find out more. All federal jobs are found here.
