Q. What is the highlight of your career?
A. Getting to work with kids and help capture moments that they can have for a lifetime.
Q. What are challenges you encounter in your career?
A. Being a photographer is hard on your body. It takes a lot of physical work and strength, especially on big events/shows.
Q. How did you get to this career?
A. I have always loved shooting pictures, ever since I was a kid. I bought a camera in high school and taught myself everything. I would watch (and still do) YouTube channels for photographers, and I attended several photography camps.
Q. Are there scholarship or internship opportunities available with your career? If so, where can more information about those be found?
A. Yes, there are several internship opportunities within the livestock industry for photographers. Some of these are paid, some are summer, week-long internships. I would be happy to provide contact information to other peer photographers offering these opportunities.
