Q. What is the highlight of your career?
A. When I was in the Army, I delivered the Super Bowl to a Special Forces team in a remote part of Afghanistan.
Q. What are challenges you encounter in your career?
A. I’ve spent most of my career in IT Management. There is normally a challenge in helping the geeks in IT speak to the rest of the company. How do you translate the technical jargon into something relatable? We often have to be problem solvers and we certainly have to be adaptable to change.
Q. How did you get to this career?
A. . I’ve always been interested in Technology but I also had a passion to serve in the military like my father before me. I joined the military through ROTC in college and spent several years as an IT manager until I’ve reached the point I am at today where I train tech managers.
Q. Are there scholarship or internship opportunities available with your career? If so, where can more information about those be found?
A. Yes, many opportunities! Be sure to check out careers.microsoft.com as well as local partnership opportunities with Array and L.
